AC Birkle is a family run dairy farm specialising in the breeding of pedigree Holstein Cows and Bulls and the production of high genetic Holstein Embryos.

Established over 35 years ago, we have a wealth of knowledge and experience in most aspects of the breeding of traditional Holstein cattle.

Based at Dungehill Farm in Wymeswold, Leicestershire. Milk is produced and sold to a local diary for the production of Stilton Cheese.

Dungehill Farm is a working dairy farm of around 200 acres, milking 150 cows and 150 followers. All of our Holstein cows are free stall housed with grass and maize silage. They all have in and out of parlour feeders and are grazed in the summer.

The focus has always been to breed practical hard working Holstein Diary cattle that perform well in a totally commercial managed environment, with the main emphasis being on type. Our current herd classification is EX(57), VG(75), GP(13), NS(12)
